Licensed Professional Counselor
Jessica Burnette was born and raised in West Virginia and moved to Virginia to pursue her education at Liberty University, where she completed a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling in 2012. After completing her degree, she has worked in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at Virginia Baptist Hospital. Through her work at the hospital, she has worked with children, adolescents, and families utilizing a variety of treatment methods. In 2021, Jessica completed her residency and earned her LPC licensure.
One of the things for which Jessica is most passionate is helping others to recognize their God-given value and the restoration of joy. She loves to provide a listening ear to those struggling and often utilizes goal setting and achievement as a part of her treatment. Jessica has experience working with a variety of topics including anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicide, mood disorders, anger management, parenting issues, and more.
Jessica’s priority in life is her relationship with the Lord. Also of great importance, however, is her family. She has been happily married for 10 years and has four young children. She finds joy in educating her children, being involved in the local church, reading, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and spending time with her family.
