Jennifer Price

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in New York, Washington and California! I reside outside a charming village in Upstate NewYork on a little farm with my husband. I love helping clients find hope, healing and courage to make important changes and live life happier and mentally healthier. I work with individuals dealing with Anxiety, Depression, Crisis, Grief and Loss, and those simply wanting personal growth. I provide counseling with individuals and families dealing with life transitions and trauma. I also work with young adults struggling with unhelpful ways to cope with intense emotions. With couples, we address rebuilding connection, emotional intimacy, trust, and communication that has been lost. My clinical background began with a clinical internship at Vanguard University, working with college students at the free counseling center. My next venture was into a private practice setting as an intern and under study for adolescents with self-harm and eating disorders. I began working at a drug and alcohol treatment center specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as working for a long-term residential care for young adults with Substance Abuse, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and Mental Health Disorders. My current therapeutic orientation is EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I will identify and address the approach best suited for my client's need. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science with an emphasis on Human Development at Hope International University (2009) and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hope International University in Fullerton, CA (2011). Prior to counseling, I spent 10 years working in the non-profit setting as an Associate Care Pastor at Friends Church in Yorba Linda. I have been a part of mission teams in rural villages in India and Mexico, helping communities with aid in mental, physical, spiritual assistance. Whether I am working in a Third World Country, a mega church, a Christian College University, A Rehab, Psychiatric Facility, or a private practice, I love working with people and helping guide them through a process of hope and healing.
