Resident and Supervisee Clinicians

Resident and Supervisee clinicians are pre-licensed clinicians who are fulfilling their residency to obtain licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As per the credentialing bodies for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), a substantial residency period of post-graduate work is required before the clinicians may apply for licensure. During this residency, the resident/supervisee operates under the supervision of a licensed clinician (that possesses the licensure they are pursuing) to review provided care, treatment approaches, and provide coaching opportunities.
