Couple & Family Counseling

Marriage and family counseling is a form of therapy that focuses on resolving issues and conflicts within couples and families. It involves addressing problems such as communication issues, trust issues, infidelity, intimacy issues, parenting problems, and other problems that affect relationships. Marriage and family counseling is typically conducted by a licensed therapist who is trained to work with couples and families.

Marriage and family counseling can be helpful for clients in a number of ways. It provides a safe and non-judgmental space where couples and families can work through their issues and concerns with the help of a trained professional. The therapist can help the clients identify and understand the root causes of their problems, and develop effective strategies to resolve them. Additionally, marriage and family counseling can help improve communication, build stronger relationships, and improve overall family functioning. Overall, marriage and family counseling can help clients navigate the complex dynamics of their relationships and work towards creating a healthier, happier family.

By working with a clinician in a safe and confidential setting, couples are able to explore their individual backgrounds (family of origin dynamics), beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors that may be impacting their relationship in both positive and negative ways. The clinician may assist the couple with addressing any immediate and pressing problems, as well as developing strategies for protecting and enhancing the long-term health and happiness of their relationship.
