Ben Spinosa BS, Practicum Student in Clinical Psychology

Hello! My name is Ben. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) from Liberty University, where I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. I am a clinical practicum student here at Light Counseling where I provide both counseling and psychological testing under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. When it comes to my counseling approach, I like a blend of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral, while also incorporating faith and Scripture. Overall, my goal is to enable my clients to feel safe, secure, seen and know they are cared for and cared about. I also utilize psychological testing to provide clarity across a number of domains. When not in the office, I enjoy reading, playing video games, watching movies, sports, spending time with friends and family, and going on adventures!
