Achsah Koshy, MA, Practicum Student in Clinical Psychology

Achsah is actively pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Liberty University, where she also earned her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and Master's of Arts in Clinical Psychology. She is currently completing her practicum at Light Counseling, where she provides both counseling and psychological testing services under the supervision of experienced professionals. Achsah has experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and identity concerns. Her approach draws from cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic orientations, while also integrating faith-based principles that support healing and growth. Achsah’s passion lies in creating a safe and compassionate space where clients can feel seen, understood, and empowered to pursue lasting change. In addition to therapy, Achsah conducts psychological assessments to support clients in gaining deeper insight into cognitive, emotional, and personality functioning. These evaluations can help clarify diagnoses, guide treatment planning, and promote self-awareness and growth. When not counseling, Achsah enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking new recipes, and listening to live music whenever she can.
