What is Psychological Testing?
Psychological testing is a valuable tool that allows us to gain a deeper understanding of your unique needs and challenges. It involves a series of assessments and evaluations designed to measure various aspects of your psychological functioning.
We utilize evidence-based psychological tests to assess factors such as cognitive abilities, personality traits, emotional functioning, and behavioral patterns. These assessments provide valuable insights into your strengths, weaknesses, and areas of potential growth. With this comprehensive understanding, we can tailor our therapeutic approach to best meet your specific needs.
Though psychological testing is part of the counseling process, testing can still be outside of therapy. In some cases, psychological testing is done purely for diagnostic purposes. In other cases, for pure curiosity. Here are just a few of the testing services we offer.
- Autism/Asperger’s Screening
- Eating Disorders
- Personality/Mental Illness Profile
- Substance Abuse
