Tori Gittens, MA, Resident in Counseling

Tori is a Licensed Resident at Light Counseling. She received her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, as well as a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Counseling, from Liberty University. She has experience working with children, youth, young adults, and couples. Her desire is to create a safe space where all of her clients feel not only heard, but understood, so that together they can work towards change and healing. Tori has helped clients with a wide range of challenges, including ADHD, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, life transitions, boundaries, and relationship issues. She has a passion for working with children and is planning on pursuing her play therapy certification during her residency. In her free time, she works on training her golden doodle to hopefully join her in therapy work one day. She also enjoys playing the guitar, getting coffee with friends, and watching cooking shows with her husband.
