Molly Eckels, Master’s Level Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Molly is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Liberty University, where she is pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is expected to graduate in December 2026. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Childhood Development with a minor in Psychology. Molly has a variety of experience from her work in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, where she supported adults facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, addiction, and life transitions. This experience strengthened her passion for helping individuals feel heard, supported, and understood during challenging periods of life. Molly enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her counseling approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while prioritizing empathy and emotional wellness. She is passionate about integrating faith into the counseling process to support emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being. In her free time, Molly enjoys pickleball, golf, swimming, and volleyball, as well as spending time with family and friends.
