Cindy Stafford, LMHP-R

Hello, my name is Cindy Stafford. I have been married for 36 years and have two adult children. I am a recent graduate from Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling – May 2023. My past work experience includes working with adults coming out of crisis and psychiatric hospitalization to provide services, specifically outpatient counseling, and made referrals to meet their needs in hopes of preventing cycling back into crisis. I have worked with individuals diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, ADHD, PTSD, relational issues, work-related stress, and life transitions. I have also worked as a Family Services Specialist (Foster Care and Adoption) and Eligibility Specialist for the Department of Social Services. I have experience in Special Education and teaching Preschool. My husband and I have been in ministry together at our local church for 23 years as AWANA Commanders and continue to work in AWANA as mentors. I have a special place in my heart to work with individuals and families who are dealing with long-term illness and provide support to caregivers. It is my desire to help individuals find hope and peace to make changes that they desire for their lives. Romans 5:1-5
